How to add text in GIF image in Photoshop

so here is a tutorial on how to add text to a GIF image in PS ( i have used CS6 but i may work in versions less than that )

First of all open your PS window work area
so to file > open > my pictures or wherever your gif image that you want to add text in is saved

Now your GIF image is opened

here the GIF image i have used has 40 frames = 40 layers

so the layer window in PS will look like

and so you find that layer 1 to 40 are here  

and the number of frames where are shown here

now go to layer 

and then New > Layer..

a pop up window will apper asking about name type and all of the layer 

color should be none

mode should be normal

other things also same as it is 

just change the name of the layer to whatever u like is is easy to identify it among so many layers

then click on OK option

now you find that a new layer is added above layer one in your layer window

 here the highlighted part represents the new layer which i have named as new 

u need to hold on the layer and drag it up till it reaches above layer 40 i.e the last layer whatever upyr GIF image has.

now since your new layer is already selected in the tools option select the text button

and then place place the cursor where you wish to add your text

looks like this 

now select the font style size and color 

even alignment of text if u wish to chose

i have chosen these one u can chose the ones u wish to

now type the text u want like i have type "Zoya"

now if u don't like the position of your text

chose Move tool 

and then drag text to the place you want it to be

now that you are finished with the main process select the play option in your timeline to see if it works properly and text is added in all frames 

keep in mind that the forever part is selected 

now after playing the GIF and knowing that text is added properly

 go to File 

and then since it is a GIF image Save for Web

and pop up window apperes

check the highlighted/marked things

and click on save

In the save window type the name of image like for example 123a and then add .gif so its like 123a.gif though adding .gif is not necessary if suggest doing so.

and now your GIF image along with text is saved in your computer :)
